1. We use Double Strength Glass (DSB) which is more durable than a standard single pane piece of glass. What does this mean for you? DSB is a better insulator against both sound and thermal differences than what is in your home now.

2. Cardinal XL Edge - The newest in technology, this is the same glass package found in skyscrapers across the nation. This combines a stainless steel bent metal spacer bar (psst...stainless steel does not conduct heat or cold therefore there is less expanding and contracting within the glass unit itself...meaning less chance for seal failure) backed with both polyisobutelyne and a structural silicone backing that does not break down in water.

What upgrades do you offer?

Lanham offers several upgrades. One of our most popular is Super Power Pane . This specially designed glass for the sunbelt keeps out up to 82% of of the sun's heat and energy as well as blocking damaging UV rays that fades your carpet, drapes and furniture. Be sure to ask about our low maintenance Easy Clean glass.

We also offer a large selection of shapes and styles to replace any window in your home. At Lanham every window is custom fit to your home, we do not alter your home to a standard window.

Solar Screens

Our solar screens offer a practical and inexpensive method for reducing heat gain in the home caused by the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays. Our screen material is a specially woven exterior solar screen that blocks up to 80 percent of the sun's heat and glare before it reaches the glass surface.
